Bala Guntipalli arrived in America fueled by a dream—to build a future for himself and his family. While building his career in tech at IBM, Bala’s life began to intertwine with the nonprofit world. As he volunteered during the evenings or on the weekends with nonprofits like Rotary, Toastmasters, Ronald McDonald House, The Blake School, local food banks, Montessori schools and many other national and international nonprofits, he found a deep sense of fulfillment. Service began as a personal pastime became a lifelong commitment, reinforced through family traditions like skipping a meal weekly and donating the savings to nonprofits. Through these small but meaningful actions, service became woven into the fabric of their everyday lives.

As Bala volunteered, he saw firsthand how nonprofits lacked effective, affordable and scalable technology solutions. Nonprofits do incredible work with very limited resources, often held back by outdated and fragmented technology. Bala saw how much more impact they could make if they had the right tools—and he knew he could help. With his background in technology and management consulting, he envisioned practical, long-term solutions. And so, the idea for Affnetz began to take root.

But the true seed for Affnetz had been planted two decades earlier. After a long fight to recover from a near-fatal car accident, Bala emerged with clarity. He realized his deeper purpose – to use his talent to empower nonprofits missions.

From that moment on, Bala became fully dedicated to Affnetz. He built a passionate team who shared his commitment to serving those who serve others, and built Affnetz – a comprehensive solution specifically for nonprofit changemakers engineered with unmatched flexibility — not just as a software company, but as a mission-driven partner for nonprofits. Every step of Affnetz’s journey has been guided by a singular vision:
